A world without Meningitis
We truly loved working with the founding director on this rewarding project. This is an organisation that is passionate about making change in New Zealand, and as such needed a website that delivered an unbelievable amount of technical information across a series of topics. The first challenge was simplifying the menu structure, so we created a mega menu to make it easier to navigate the information.
Working on content heavy websites requires a huge amount of planning, so we spent a lot of time figuring everything out and re-ordering the pages to eliminate unnecessary sub menus and multiple page clicks to get to where you need to be. It may not sound like much, but considering user experience is a vital part of the process this was a key part of the early stages of the project.
The website needed to be bold, engaging and modern and the client was thrilled with the results. Building it in Squarespace allowed the client to manage and update their own content, all in an easy-to-use platform.
The client can also easily share personal stories from families who have been effected by this disease, as well as podcasts and collect donations. We wish the Meningitis Foundation well as they continue to make a difference for all New Zealanders.
